Yesterday, the replica image of the Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno once again visited our parish. Many parishioners joined the welcoming mass led by Fr. Ferdie Delatado.
In his homily, Fr. Ferdie talked about many reasons of tears: sorrow, grief, and death of our loved ones. Yet the reason of your tears would-be the result of happiness that you feel. To summarize it, if there's a tears of sadness, there are also tears of joy
If a man cries, its just that he's not afraid to show what he feels. It is not a reduction of manhood when you are in the verge of tears it just proves that you are a human you have feelings and emotions.
Pope John Paul II said that; the opposite of love is indifference. When you don't care, once you're not intrusive, there is no room for love. And there are people that no matter how good you are to them they don't care that no matter what realization and forgiveness. They continue to commit sins.
In visitation of the Black Nazarene what are your prayers that you awfully cry for; whisper it to him. Let him listen to your cries and tears because every tear drop, and every sacrifice you make he listens to all your prayers.
All he wanted is to replace your tears full of sadness into tears of joy.
Go ahead let your tears flow, don't retain it you don't have anything to hide from God he will not judge. You can testify and hope that he hears every prayer and cries you have.
Before the mass ends Fr. Ferdie thanked all the people who attended the mass and welcome the Black Nazarene.
Earlier today, the image of the Black of the Nazarene visited the 15 chapels and pastoral communities. The faithful offered prayers when the image of the Black Nazarene arrive.
Tomorrow, will be the annual "Pasanan", where devotees of the Black Nazarene and the parishioners of the parish will carry the image during the procession.
