April 19,2025 - The events have now moved on from the death of Jesus, to His glorious resurrection. The celebration was led by Rev. Fr. Fernando (Fhyrdz) Cornejo, the parish priest of Holy Family Parish.
“Jesus is no more found in the grave of the dead, as He is now alive,”
In his homily, Fr. Fhyrdz highlighted the success of Jesus, which is not only His, but could also be ours if we will follow the Lord’s words and commands.
“He saved the world through the following: sacrifice, death, and resurrection, the only thing left is our response,”
The priest added that Jesus’ mission is done, it is now our time to take proper action so that we may achieve the success that He obtained.
“We are able to live again every time we experience change. The genuine repentance and conversion to God,”
As long as we continue to confess our sins, we have a chance to be reborn as it is the way to heal our souls from the damage caused by our wrongdoings.
“Every time we fight the evil, temptation, and sin, we are winning with Jesus,”
Fr. Fhyrdz shared that it is essential that we carry our own cross, with complete faith to the Lord, so that we can experience His blessing and reward at the end.
“We always have a hope with Jesus, the hope that runs through His resurrection, as this is where He refreshed his trust and love to the Father,”
After his homily, Holy Family Parish welcomed the new additions to the Catholic world: Gabriel Enrico Bulawit, Gabriel Enrique Bulawit, Katrina B. Bru, Georgina B. Casim, Angelo Ace P. Galang, Maraya Jessa P. Galang, Fathema B. Mustafa, Liezel S. Oliva, Loraine U. Sierte, Rachelle U. Sierte, Angelle F. Sison, Clwy Vitalicio, and Kyle Vitalicio.
