Remember, you will die, Fr. Delatado

Today were celebrating Good Friday, annually observe as the commemoration of the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ and as a day of sorrow, penance and fasting. Siete Plabras also called 7 Last Words started at 12:00 nn.

The youth led the seven last words. Sharers were Mark Jerald Fronda Pabustan, Avelino S. Escolano, Maria Alelie Bless V. Ignacio, John Vincent Bianes Labid, Lady Arwin De Leon Gulifardo, Angel Marie P. Urag, John Benedict Lopez.

The mass began at 3:00 PM. Fr. Ferdinand Delatado talked about in his homily that were all afraid to die. And he reminded us of the phrase Memento Mori. Memento means "Memory" and Mori means "Death."Remember that we are all going to die. Because if were all not afraid to die, we will go wherever place we want, eat all kinds of food, and were not going to be conscious to our health.

Afterwards, the veneration of the cross started and the communion. Hundreds of parishioners joined the Santo Entierro or funeral procession. 31 images participated this year, and the procession took two and a-half hours. The kissing on the foot of the Entierro was held inside the parish.
