Fr. John Paul Osip presided the 3rd Simbang Gabi mass in our parish. In his homily, Fr. Osip talked about our reflection, sacrifices, preparation this coming Christmas. We are focusing in contemplation of Joseph, and he is known of being calm and prudence.
Why is Joseph calm?
Joseph is near to get married by Mary, instead of getting angry he chose to remain silent and to leave Mary in silent with prudence.
Our problem doesn’t need to be known by everyone; we just have to find a solution and keep it to ourselves, instead of posting it on social media to seek attention. Before we make a scene, we need to think what will be the outcome of our actions.
He also mentioned that sleeping is a good way to reduce stress, because if we get some sleep in right time this reduce our blood pressure. So if you have some problems, don’t forget to get some sleep.
Sleeping lightens our feelings, and we can think some solutions to our problems. Therefore, Joseph is inviting us to sleep. He reminded us to never underestimate the power of sleep and God's plan is always the best plan.
