The 2nd monthly Family Faith Formation Seminar continued with the theme “Mary Model of Motherhood”. The guest speaker was Mrs. Angie Balderama.
After asking the audience what it means to become a mother, Mrs. Angie told everyone that becoming a mother means caring for and loving their child and also being a good wife.
“We should remove the mindset that housewives are simply relaxing at their homes”
This pandemic was difficult for everyone but especially for the mothers. Since the new mode of learning was implemented, they had to be their children’s teachers while continuing their house chores and job. This is why Mrs. Angie reminded everyone to be careful before saying something.
“It is important that we put good intentions and love into the things that we do and whenever we help.”
People should not allow worldly customs to remove their dignity and search for the truth. Whenever we face challenges, we should remain calm and be satisfied with what is there. Do not force yourself to obtain what you cannot obtain and avoid too much desire because we might forget the Lord.
“Mothers are the primary source of strength, wisdom, and light. Let us help them stand up whenever they fall.”
