Life is about Discipleship, Fr. Balatbat

The last family faith formation seminar was about discipleship. It was led by Rev. Fr. Alexander P. Balatbat.

Fr. Alex stated that life was about "relationship." If you fail in a relationship, you will fail in life. The win of the parish is the relationship of the parishioners and priest, and most importantly is the relationship with God. The Lord created us to have connection with him. If we lost our relationship with Christ, it would lead to death. The way that we live as people with love and relationship is where God is reflected. To be related to each other, that is the way of God.

The call of the discipleship is a call for friendship. Fr. Alexander told us that the community of disciples was a community to its willing to love each other and a community who are willing to give not only much but to offer all. The Lord wants us to love each other and to live in love.
