It's easy for us to lose our faith in things that seem to be hopeless, Fr. Delatado

Today we celebrate Corpus Christi which means ' body of Christ' in Latin. We commemorate the Last Supper of Jesus before his crucifixion; we honor the institution of the Eucharist, the body and blood of Jesus Christ, present in the bread and wine.

Yesterday, a mass was held at Resurrected Christ Chapel, Anastacia Village led by Fr. Ferdinand C. Delatado. In his homily, Fr. Ferdie reminded about how easy it is for us to quit on things which we think are useless. Christ appreciates the remnants. The disciples gathered it together and not neglected.

He added that in the Holy Eucharist we are filled by God, not just physically but spiritually. That we should share the God we accepted, and be missionaries to our neighbors. The Holy Hour started at 4:00 pm and was lead by our Parish Priest and the Parish Pastoral Council. He also read the Homily of Pope Francis last Chrism Mass to share his message.

Despite the rain, the procession proceeded after the Holy Hour. Upon arriving at the parish, the benediction began and was followed by a holy mass and the renewal of Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Communion. Let us remember, to always be thankful for the Body of Christ for it is the great gift that the Lord has given us.
