The Lord’s arrival is unpredicted. This is why Fr. Fermin Leoveras, FdCC shared some ways so that the people can prepare and will be ready when He comes.
“God is arriving every day. Which is why we too, should be prepared every day.”
The first step in getting ready for his arrival is not doing things that are against him. Second, do charity or help inside the house. Although doing charities and helping people outside our home is good, Fr. Fermin said that it is still dangerous due to the pandemic so he just requested everybody to do it inside the houses in the meantime. Lastly, always claim and believe that the Lord is coming every day for there is no sense in preparing if people will not believe that He will arrive.
After that, he also mentioned that an act of charity will only be true if the people are doing it with a clean and pure heart. A person who is willing to forgive and to ask forgiveness. A person who is willing to love, including the undeserving ones.
People are not born evil. This is why everyone should follow Saint Joseph and Mother Mary who became a good example to everybody. A genuinely good person is someone who doesn’t discriminate and someone who thinks and shows concern to other people.
