Last Tuesday, The Holy Family Parish aired a benefit concert for its ongoing relief operations for the poor communities affected by the Enhanced Community Quarantine.
Together with the guest priest Fr. Martin Borda, 7 members of the Parish Sacred Music Ministry, and members of the Parish Media. The holy event entitled " A Concert of Healing and Hope" led by Fr. Ferdinand Delatado, performed songs of Healing, Strength, Hope, Joy, and Empowerment to end our fears.
During the concert, we're reminded that "Although COVID-19 made it impossible for us to get out of our houses and has made us afraid of socializing with other people. We should never forget that we have a duty to help each other, most especially those in need."
In the end, Fr. Ferdinand told us that with the parish' limited resources, they will continue to act and remind us of our responsibility to help each other. That it is also important to strengthen our faith in times like this and to continue praying for everyone, especially those who are helping the people affected by COVID-19
