We begin the holy week in observance of Palm Sunday also called Domingo de Ramos. Where Jesus entered Jerusalem, as well as the beginning of the Lord's Passion. It also reminds us to strive hard to be virtuous. Contemplate what we can do to help others in times of crisis and this holy week. The first part of the liturgy began in with the blessing of the palms. The palms came from Rodriguez, Rizal.
Fr. Ferdinand Delatado led the Palm Sunday mass via Facebook Live. In his homily he tackled three important things to do this holy week. (1) Be quiet, we are encouraged to be quiet and pray to deepen our correlation to God because in silence we become united with Jesus. (2) Evaluate your conscience, instead of judging others let's evaluate first ourselves it is not too late to seek forgiveness to our sins and change for the better. And (3) be humble, always keep in mind that there is no arrogant in heaven.
We will not succeed in our fight against COVID-19 if we're not unified and selfish. Our enemy is the virus and not each other, this is our opportunity to become as one and united. Let's make the holy week memorable and significant.
