Be like a child. A model of truth and goodness - Fr. Dominic

Parish faithful celebrated the feast of Sto. Niño last Sunday. Fr. Dominic Denina presided the morning mass. He talked about the difference between a child and an adult. A child is an image of truth, model of goodness, and a good follower of God. If we don't learn to be humble like them, we can't enter the gates of heaven. We need to return to being kid at heart; we can get a lot of goodness to them for example is that they don't plant hatred. Even if they physically hurt each other, they don't hold grudges. And that is one thing that is evident to the heart of every kid. He also mentioned that anger makes you ugly and brings you pain. Let's eliminate the anger in ourselves, learn to forgive not because they deserve forgiveness but because you deserve peace of heart and peace of mind. The appeal of God to us is to emulate a child being humble. Reflecting on how they act to their problems and challenges our hearts will not feel any anger, bitterness and resentment.
